On our way to the FIESS: already over 1,000 participants registered!

With the end of the early registration period, we have already registered over of one thousand people from 61 countries throughout the world!

The rich and varied experience of participants will undoubtedly contribute greatly to making the FIESS exchanges interesting and productive. As such, beyond the formal context of the plenary sessions and the workshops of the FIESS, participants will have several other occasions to meet and discuss with participants from a similar sector or region. The coffee breaks, which will bring together all of the participants in the exhibition room, will provide some opportunities for encounters. So too will:

>> The cultural and youth evening of October 18th, which will allow participants to network in an innovative and creative environment and in a more relaxed setting.

>> The field trips organized before and after the FIESS, which will be extraordinary opportunities to see concretely the work being done in different economic sectors and regions of Quebec, and to make contacts with the actors involved at the grass-root level.

In addition to these moments, other activities organized around the FIESS seek to bring together actors with similar interests, namely:

> the indigenous pre-forum event « ANICINAPE KICIKAN » of Oct, 17th
> the presentation on « Community Radio and Public Policy Development” and the inauguration activity of the World House of Community Radio and the ARCQ and AMARC offices on Oct. 17th
> the activity « Women at the Heart of the Social Economy » of Oct. 17th
> The research seminar of Oct. 17th and the panel on Collaborative Research/Partner Research of Oct. 19th
